Hiya! Hope you're all doing well. I should've updated sooner. Internet is back which is nice (it did go out again for a few days but it's now back however i'm anticipating another outage cuz whoever is in charge of burying the internet cable STILL didn't bury it so wowee get ready friends).

An update on the artsy fartsy room i've been working on: The walls are now painted purple huzzuh! Now I need to work on the floor cuz oh man it was gross. I tore everything up so it's now bare. Gonna put down laminate once I get the extra cash. I'm planning on buying 1 or 2 boxes each paycheck but y'know bills and other stuff pops up (like a certain sibling of mine moved back in with us and hooooooo booooooyyyyyyyy what a mess). At least the room is small so hopefully it'll only take maybe 5 or 6 small boxes ;v;

Here's a DnD update in case anyone was curious: My friends and I started a new session back in May (I think) so I no longer use my Drow Cleric. I now use a Kobold Fighter and she's just as precious. Maybe once everything settles I'll throw up some sketches of both of them but we'll see, eheh...

I still check in here, however, I currently don't have internet at home so I have to sit either at my brother's work or at my work before/after my shift (depending).

Also, my scanner is a piece of shit but I suppose that's what I get for being a cheap-o. Gonna invest in a better one at some point.

. . . As a Circulation Assistant at the library. Holy hell 'information overload' is an understatement. However, I like it and happy that after 3 years of volunteering at my local library, I was finally hired at the main branch. Part time but better than nothing.

The downside is that i'm working this weekend so no DnD for me fffuuuu...

Had a blast playing. I've been sketching my Drow cleric but haven't decided on a final design yet. When I do, i'll post it. Also, thank you IAmAmory for your advice in my last journal. It helped me not be so anxious You'll be getting a sketch from me as a 'thank you' soon.

I think we're playing again this weekend; looking forward to it~

This weekend I'll partake in my first DnD session (unless something pops up). I'm absolutely excited and intimidated by the prospect of this, aha! The purpose of this journal is to ask experienced DnD players for some helpful tips, advice, and whatever else they want a newb like me to know beforehand.

Feel free to share your DnD stories, videos, and links that you think will help a new player (including DM stuff as well since I believe its my friends' first time playing as well). Or anything amusing you would like to share

If anyone was wondering, i'm almost done with converting that spare room to my art/game room! Just need to buy the color I want to paint it (I already painted a base layer) and then arrange everything. It's so close to being done but I need to scrounge up some extra cash for the paint (which shouldn't be too hard since i'm selling a few things I don't need).
